Don’t know how active I’m going to be on DA because of this so sorry if I take long to respond to anything. This first week hopefully won’t be to busy, which might give me time to upload some of the drawing work we did last module and then there’s always the chance of some re-uploads...See ya guys when I see ya!!

Well, if you don't mind me asking, what do you want to become/do? These days the terms artist/designer/illustrator, carry so many different descriptions and interpretations. People tend to hear 'artist' then shut down, thinking of it the traditional sense only as a hobby. I find that very few people has made the mindshift that art is now also a paying occupation with many different paths that can be followed... Don't know if this is the case with your parents though

for a career, i wanna be a concept artist/ illustrator for videogames...and yea, my parents dont want me to because i have a natural talent with trigonometry and calculus as well....they think i can make a better living with that than with art...but art is more fun to me

I see. Yeah, go can't really force yourself to do something you don't really want to do, well, you can, but the general agreement is that that will make you unhappy.
I suppose if you really wanted to get them off your back, you could try to get estimated quotes from jobs from both aspects (both art and maths) were art will hopefully show more promising financial results. All you really need to do I suppose is show your parents that you can make a living from illustrating...
